Chrissy grinned. She knew it didn't hurt him but at least she got an 'ow'. "And what makes you believe either one of you boys are all that good looking anyway?" Chrissy scowled as she waved her hand above her head trying to push Russ' hand out of the way,"Will you stop that; I'm not a dog to be patted," she muttered. THen looking at Jake, "It's your go, Wilde," she said with a bit of whine left over from her fuss with Russ.

"You don't think we're attractive?", Russell asked while pointing to himself with a puppy-dog-esque frown. "You must be blind then", he said as he pulled his hand away from the girl's head. His eyes followed her gaze toward Jake and gave the other boy a nod. "Try not to do anything too fancy, this one's got a handicap. Clearly can't see a thing."

Jake let out a laugh about Chrissy's visibility. He leaned over and cornered the 5-ball and moved around the table for another shot. On his way around, he grabbed a pool stick and tossed it toward Russ. He assumed his cousin would be paying attention and catch it. They had a sort of silent communication since they were young.
[haha... I can't go any further than that, but that's okay I guess.]

"Oh, Russ, shut up, you prat," she quickly threw back at him, a bit tweaked that she couldn't come up with something better than that. "And don't you laugh," she glared at Jake. She had half a mind to stick out her stick and trip Jake as he was moving around the table for a better shot. "I hope you miss it," she pestered him, then glancing over at Russ as Jake threw him a stick, hoping it'd hit him on the forehead for what he said, then smiled at the thought.

Russ instinctually caught the stick thrown to him by Jake, no doubt disappointing Chrissy though he obviously wasn't aware of what she had been hoping for. He twirled it around a bit and then, without warning, poked Chrissy in the rear with it. Probably not what his cousin had intended him to do with it but it was amusing nevertheless. "I may be a prat but at least I don't suck at billiards. I got exactly what I was aiming for."

Jake, who had his eyes on the next shot, had missed the classic moment, and as such Russ's words were lost on him. He had an idea that it was something he would have found amusing, and was indeed a little disappointed. Alas, there were countless good times with Chrissy and his cousin, so he did not linger on it for long. "Stop flirting you two," Jake said casually, as he leaned across the table. "The pheromones are distracting me," he said, unable to hide a grin at his own joke, as he took a shot and missed.

This time Chrissy took the effort to punch Russ on the arm, glared at him, then turned around and walked away as she rubbed her butt. "Shut up, Wilde," she said a bit tweaked, but at the same time, not really tweaked. She glared at the two of them from the corner of their eyes. Then realizing it was her turn, she readied herself to hit a ball. She aimed at the white ball but hit it in a way so that it would bounce, heading straight towards Jake, who was closest to the table and nearly hitting him, "Oops," she said innoncently.

"Flirting..with her?! Be reasonable, Jake." Russell scoffed at the idea of him and a girl who had about as much sex appeal to him as his sister. "I may not have ambitions of dating a Beta but I think I can do a little bit better than the blind wonder over there." Before he could say any more, the boy was silenced as Chrissy's ill-fated shot nearly struck Jake.

Jake jumped out of the way of the ball, salvaging any injury that might be inflicted on his face or upper torso. However, Chrissy's little bunny hop, leapt down off the table and dropped like rock on Jake's toe. He let out a yelp, dropping his stick to the ground and lifting his foot. As though clutching to his shoe was going to help any. But there it was, Jake hopped around on his one foot, letting out repeated ow, ow, ows, trying to soothe the throbbing toe.

"Oh, stop being so over-dramatic," trying to hold in a smile. It was making her feel a bit better after the way the two were teasing her, "It couldn't have hurt that much," she said lightly. "It's your go, Russty, if you're going to do anything more with that stick than poke me in the butt. She took a step back, now leaning against her stick, having not intentions on feeling sorry for Jake. "Does it really hurt that much?" she asked, finally giving into a grin.

With a shrug, Russel stepped up to the table and leaned over to try his luck. He was a bit awkward getting himself situated, as if he were not used to the activity. Jake was the one who was good with billiards, not him. He was aiming for the purple ball but his the green one instead and it didn't go very far either. "Just not my game either, I suppose", he said with a laugh.

By the time Jake had stopped whining about his foot, Russell had taken his shot and missed. Only, the cue ball had been the one to hit Jake's foot, and he leaned over to pick it up. "Yeah, it would help if you used this ball." Jake suggested with a smirk and tossed the ball back on the table. "Just because there's white on a ball, Russ, doesn't mean it's a cue ball."

Chrissy laughed, not even realizing that Russ had hit the wrong ball. She glanced at her watch. "Oh, gosh, I gotta go. I'll see you boys later tonight, see you," she said as she put her stick away. Chrissy turned and left.

"Aw Chrissy, don't leave!" Jake called after her. He knew she was probably going to be like one of those goody-two-shoes and go do some homework. He didn't know any other person who could chameleon so many different types of people. Jake looked to Russell in a mock seriousness, hardly able to contain a grin, "You've gone and run her off, Rusty."

Russell watched Chrissy leave with a shrug, she probably just had something to take care of that didn't involve them. Girl stuff, he reasoned, was more often than not uncomfortable and nothing he had any interest in being apart of. "Me, how did I run her off?" He scratched his head in mock-curiosity. "With my terrible pool skills?"
