Colbie had no want to go to school today. Usaly, she was a bit more physced for school, but today she had the biggest english assignment due today, and her computer wouldn't open it to print off. Colbie really didn't feel like re-writing it, so she was going to hope that the teacher would give her an extension. Ha. What a joke. Colbie knew that her teacher would never give her an extension, even though english was her best subject, that was even more of a title for Colbie to upold. "Why did my computer have to be so stupid", Colbie thought to herself as she got ready in the morning. She put on a pair of dark jeans, with a pair of white heels, and a red polo top. Her hair was curly, like usual. The frustrated Colbie grabbed her bag, and her jacket, and walked out of her dorm room, not even noticing that school didn't start for another good half-an-hour.
When she arrived at the main campus, she realized that she was early, really early. Sighing, she lugged herself into the student lounge, where she bought herself a mocha. Walking over to the comfy couches, she threw herself onto the couch, and threw her feet up onto the table, she didn't even care. Nobody was around. Rummaging through her bag, she looked for her phone, to make sure it was on, but she couldn't find it. "sunshine!" She yelled out. She remembered that she had plugged it in last night, and she must of forgot it at home. Great, this day kept on getting worse and worse for Colbie.

Monday mornings were the worst ever. You’re on this amazing freedom high all weekend, and then that first day, foreboding the rest, hits like a ton of bricks. Suddenly there’s just not enough time to do one’s hair, or get ready for the day. Sure, Eve had getting ready, even to the extent that she did so, down to an art, but one could never look good enough. Even she had to admit that there was always something that had to be improved upon. The question was: where you going to flaunt it, or distract away from it? That was the art of looking good. And that’s why she could claim to be near appearance perfection, when she knew full well what her own flaws were.
As Eve walked straight-backed through the corridors, she got the strange feeling that something was missing. Adjusting her bag’s strap on her shoulder, her piercing blue eyes narrowed as she glanced around. It was not until she saw a couple of younger boys crossing up ahead that she became aware of how empty it was. She let out an immediate groan. It had been happening too frequently to be surprised. Someone, Eve had a sneaking suspicion it was one of the younger jocks who had a crush on Sierra, but was too immature to express it correctly (by becoming a prep slave), had been sneaking in during the day when they were out, and turning their clocks forward. It was too small an amount to really notice… but Eve found herself twenty minutes ahead of schedule, when she glanced up at the wall clock. That’s what she got for using her phone as an alarm and the desk clock as a time reference.
Giving in to the fact that she was already ready, she decided to spend the wasted time in the lounge. Typically there were people of a more elite standing in there. Eve pushed the door aside and found Colbie. Eve gave a playful smile, as she walked over and sat across from her. She crossed her legs gracefully and reached into her bag for a mirror. Fifteen minutes was about the longest through the day Eve went without making sure she still looked right. “You’re up early this morning.” Eve noted, as she lifted her brows to check for any stray, unplucked hairs.

Colbie had been sitting in the lounge for a god ten minutes until people had began to flock in. As she sat, looking around, looking for people she knew, and would talk to, she took a sip of her mocha, hoping that it would make the day better, and make it go by faster. Sighing, she felt like going home already. Just skipping the whole day, and when she returned for tomorrow, she'ld make some excuse up like she was in Cali for the weekend, and her flight got delayed. Yeah. That would work. Just as Colbie took her feet of the table, and got ready to stand up, Eve appeared, giving Colbie a smile. 'There goes my plan.', She thought to herself, but maybe the day would begin to get better with Eve here now.
As Eve sat down, and took out her compact, Colbie sighed on the inside. She needed to figure out a way to get that girl away from her mirrors. "Urg. Tell me about it. I've been here like, 10 minutes already darling. And I was just making my plan to leave," She said wondering how much Eve was really listening too behind her compact. Just then, Colbie got a huge shiver. Putting down her mocha, she grabbed her leather jacket and put it on. Colbie loved that jacket. She has had it forever, and was pretty much the only one she wore. Colbie wasen't one for the cold. She couldn't remember why she haden't put he jacket on before she left her dorm, but it was close enough to walk. Even living here for 4 years, Colbie still wasen't a custom to the colder enviroment, and putting a jacket on before leaving the house.
[*changed the jacket]

After finding satisfaction in her own reflection, Eve snapped the gold compact shut with a snap and put it back into her purse. Despite how distracted she may have seemed with her own face, Eve had learned to balance her predominant interest with everyday life -- which included her friends talking. Flashing her knowing little smile, Eve now kept her eyes on Colbie, her attention focused entirely on her. That was one of the things Eve was very good at. Though she can seem very interested in herself, she can also look as though she is entirely focused on someone or something else. Part of it had to do with the intensity of her eyes.
Her smile masked the words of her amusement. Though she was preppy, she thought it was very humorous that Colbie should find ten minutes to be an unbearable amount of time. Perhaps it was just the cultural difference, but having grown up in Marseille, Eve was used to spending much time doing absolutely nothing. Though she did not fancy being alone so much, even there, so she could understand why ten minutes might have seemed like ten hours.
Reaching back into her bag, Eve pulled out her cell phone and checked the time. “Only ten more before we can head to class.” Eve replied casually, not aware of Colbie’s intentions to skive off lessons for the day.

"Ten minutes. Really?" Colbie said, almost shocked at the time. She didn't think that it was that close to the start of class, but then again, Colbie didn't have the greatest sense of time, expically without her cell phone. "Thats not alot of time at all, but somehow, I'll still be late to homeroom," She laughed, placing her now empty coffee cup on the table.
Holding the collar of her jacket up out of broedom, she looked past Eve, out the window. Outside was a nice, crisp [winter?] day. If it wasen't for the coldness, Colbie would think that the weather was great for this time of year, being a place with seasons, unlike her home. You think that a person would adjust to climate change after three years, but Colbie still haden't.
"So," Colbie said, trying to think of something to say, seeing as both of the girls still were dragging on this monday morning, "What are your plans for the week?"
[Oh my gosh. Sorry that its all over the place. Not my greatest.]

[That’s all right, I didn’t give you much to work with. I’ll bite the bullet now that my other thread seems to be headed in a direction that I can refer to it.]
Can head to class. It would seem that was the last place an eighteen year old would want to be, but in Eve’s mind -- the sooner they were in, the sooner they were out. It was a necessity, of course. Just like university was a necessity. Like her mother, she would probably never have a job, and did not have clue as to what she would “want to be” if she did have a career ahead of her. But like most preps, they would probably find a nice boy at school who was unbearably handsome, and smart (which was much harder to find in high school), and shop the rest of her life away. Ah… that was the ultimate dream.
Eve cleared her throat when Colbie asked about her week. Generally it would be the same old plans, but that was when the same old events had occurred. But this time something “special” had happened, and the one who had provoked the situation had his fate coming to him. Leaning forward confidentially, Eve whispered, “What do you say to utter annihilation?” Eve asked with a glimmer in her eye, and a smirk at the corner of her lips.

Colbie though about those ten minutes between now and the start of class. The more and more thought put in, the less and less she looked foward to seeing these minutes pass. Colbie would much rather be stuck in the student lounge for the rest of her live, than go to class, but, in the next breath, the sooner she got into class, the sooner she got out. And besides, high school was only like, what, 700 days long? Yeah, 700 days or so, give or take one here or there. Thinking about school this way didn't seem as bad, as thinking about school in the day to day way.
"What do you say to utter annihilation?”
"What!?" Colbie said, jumping back from Eve excitingly, and then realized the fact that Eve had obviosley wispered this for a reason. Leaning back in towards Eve, Colbie quickley saw the smirk in her lips, and a michevious look grew on Colbie's. "I say, yes. But, what exactly did you have in mind? And for whom?" This was now the highlight of Colbie's week and would supercede cheer, or anything else that were to happen.

Though there was an overall excitement about Eve’s thought on destroying Russell, even if just socially (not that he needed her help), she could not help but shudder when she thought of what he had done to provoke this necessary obliteration. Perhaps it was not that it was so revolting… okay, maybe not perhaps. If only she had kneed him in the groin, had slapped in the face again, had called rape… no, it was that she had just stood there in shock… she could not stand to think what the people who saw thought. It had only happened yesterday, and Eve was not sure if it had really gotten around yet. It was only Monday morning after all… and Eve tended to be one of the predominant gossip spreaders.
“Oh, nobody that you would care to know.” Eve answered, leaning back as though it was routine to get revenge on someone. And sometimes, it really was. “He’s in my year, maybe that’s what made him act out place. Anyway,” Eve said, not really wanting to blurt out that Russell Jameson had kissed her, in front of everyone in the room, “I need to think of something horrible… simply wretched to do or have done to him.”

Once Eve had mentioned that he was in her grade, all Colbie wanted to know was who he was. It was either someone who Eve totaly lothed, or someone who Eve had gotten along with in the past but he had done something wrong, but Colbie was thinking that it was most likley her first idea. But still, with Eve, it could be anything, and with it being Eve, there was a very slim chance that Colbie would ever found out who she was planning to help sabatoge.
"Well, did you have anything in mind?" Colbie asked, not having any ideas in mind, after hearing all that Eve wanted to accomplish.
[eh. sorry again. my muse kinda ran away halfway thorugh that post.]
