Star stood in the middle of the dance studio, she had just spent the last hour practicing the choreography for Takiera's concert. And in three hours Star would be practicing her singing on the floor just above the dance studio. This was a thing she did every other day, practicing her dancing and singing that is.
Star grabbed her bag and left the dance studio, she needed a break and fresh air. She stood in the lounge that was the center point of the whole building. The lounge was pretty much empty except for a few people walking through every so often. Star walked over to one of the overstuffed couches that faced a massive flat screen TV. She grabbed the remote. "Boring.. Boring.. Seen it.. Boring.." Star said to herself, while flipping through the channels. Finally she settled for MTV.
Star reached into her bag and pulled out a book. In it was pictures and names of all the students at WCA. Since she was running for student council president she wanted to make an effort to at least learn most of the students names. She had already covered the A's, B's, and C's. Surprisingly there wasn't as many student as it seemed.

As Emilie walked around he dorm room, she had came to the realization that she had nothing to do today. Her roommate, Luna, wasen't around, and well, Emilie, having as many friends as she did, she didn't even have anyone to phone up to make plans. As she plugged her iPod into the dock so it would play out loud, she pressed play. As The Veronicas played throughtout the room, she began to get motavated. She couldn't stand sitting around all day, it just wasen't her thing. As she got dressed, Emilie though she would hit up the dance studio later, you know, to do some dancing, and working out. As she slid on her black low-tops with her dark jeans, and white fitted blazer, Emilie unplugged her iPod and stuffed the headphones in her ears, so she could listen on her way to the studio, and picked up her lululemon bag full of a cahnge of clothes.
As she walked down the streets, with Takiera Watson now blasting into her ears, she hummed along to the music. Passing a starbucks, she paused for a moment. Did she want a coffee? It was hard to pass up a starbucks, but Emilie faught the challange, and won. She contuined on to the dance studio.
As she entered the main, center part of the building, Emilie looked around, and tried to figure out where she wanted to go. As she began to walk again, her eyes focused onto the giant tv and the overstuffed couches. On the couch sat a girl from school, who she reconized from a few election posters. Walking up behind the couch, she though she would put an effort in to speak to the girl, and maybe ask her about some election stuff. "Hey," She said, with a smile.

Star looked up when someone spoke. "Hi Emilie." She said, closing her book. She had just gone through the E's so they were still fresh in her mind. Star put her book into her bag and sat up. "Wanna sit?" She asked, gesturing to the seat next to her.
"So what brings you here?" Star asked. She hadn't pictured Emilie as the type of girl who would be going all alone to the dance studio, but then again she had only seen a picture of her and hadn't actually talked to her yet.

"Sure," Emilie said, walking around a sitting down, "Your Star, right?"To be truthful, Emilie was kind of shocked that she would talk to her, expically because Emilie reconized the girl to be Star, a beta. Not in her three years here has someone who was either a omega or beta thought of talking to here, and here she sat now with a freshman.
"Well, I didn't have much going on, so I was heading over to the dance studio. I've done ballet since I was young, and a small workout session never hurt anyone." Emilie explained herself to Star, hoping that she would in return.

Star brushed away a few strands of hair that had escaped her pony tail. She tucked them back up and smiled. "Ya, I'm Star." She had only sad a few sentences to Emilie and already like her. She seemed shy but that never stopped Star from be friends with anyone.
"Cool. Well, I am just taking a quick break before I get back to the dance studio. I do every kind of dance imaginable. I like to roll them all into one dance, and it turns out amazing in the end." Star laughed. "I've been here for a while now and I'm not leaving for a while, so we could dance together. You could show me your stuff and I could show you my unique style."

"Thats cool. I really haven't been dancing much latley. When I moved here, I stopped taking lessons." Emilie said, looking at the book of students that Star had on her lap, "That sounds like fun," Emilie said, at the thought of the two of them helping eachother, and teaching eachother different stuff.
Emilie thought about how she walked up here, and even started talking to Star. It really was out of character for her, but she needed a change, she was sick of being boring old Emilie who didn't speak to anyone. She was seventeen for gosh sakes! She couldn't hide out again for two more years. Yes, it was kind of akward for her sitting here talking to this girl, a freshman, but if this is how she had to start talking to people, then this is what she would do.

Star grabbed her bag off of the ground and stood up. She slung her bag of her shoulder and gestured for them to walk. "Come on lets get going, I am rested enough for now." Star laughed and started walking in the direction of the studio.
Once inside the studio Star grabbed the cd play and hooked it up to the big speakers. "Here you go first. Choose what ever CD you want." Star grabbed an enormous CD wallet out of her bag. She went and sat against the wall.

"Kay," Emilie said, standing up, and pulling her bag along with her. As she followed Star to the studio, she felt a bit odd, and a bit out of place, but it was manily because she wasen't use to this type of stuff. As they walked into the studio, Emilie told Star that she had to quickly get changed, and soon after, Emilie came back into the studio with lululemon yoga pants on, and a tank top, all ready to move.
As she took the CD wallet from Star, she looked though it. Wow, she had never seen somebody have so many CD's "This is an impressive collection." Emilie said to Star, as she picked out what looked like a burnt cd, and placed it in the player.

Star smiled, "Ya, my dad buys me a different CD practically every week. We both love music. It's one of the many things we have in common." Star reached into her bag and grabbed out some gum, she always had a pack with her. "You wanna piece?" She asked Emilie, holding out the pack in her direction.
