Nathan sat soundlessly on the far end of a wooden bench, located near the food court. He was wearing charcoal gray skinny jeans and a loose band t-shirt which was partially covered by an unzipped, black sweater. He wasn't at all hungry, and wasn't planning to do any shopping today, he was here for the simple reason that he had no where else to go. He watched people pass in front of him with his intense green gaze as the scents of coffee and other things filled the air. The shoppers passed him without bothering to take a glance at him. Why would they? Some lonely emo kid sitting on a bench was nothing new or exciting, and Nathan was glad about that. The fact that he could sit in the middle of a crowded place and practically turn invisible was always something he was proud of.
Nathan drew in a deep breath and ran his fingers through his jet black hair. He alarmingly realized that the silence was starting to get to him. This was a strange feeling to him, but not a new one. He usually found silence peaceful, and and opportunity to straighten his thoughts out, but every now and then it was different. Sometimes it seemed like he didn't have enough to think about, and ended up repeating things over and over again in his mind. This was when he found the silence irritating.
Soon enough he was itching to hear his own voice, but he was much too shy to be the first to start a conversation. Besides, most of the people he saw were complete strangers, people he hadn't recognized in the least. The best he could do was hope someone might notice him for once, and talk to him

Star lay on her bed and look at the ceiling she had absolutely nothing to do and it was driving her crazy. She wanted to get out and do something but her dad had grounded her from doing all things unless it had to do with Takiera and her career. Star had been a royal pain after one of her concerts so her dad decided to remind her that he is still the boss of her. And no matter how many times she apologized, he wouldn't let up on her punishment. Star sat up and grabbed her cell phone off of her side table. She started to scroll through her contacts list and rested upon a folder, she tapped the ok button and up popped a box. It asked for a password and Star pressed a few buttons, 'Voila!' She said to herself. The folder held the numbers of all Takieras famous friends. Star scrolled down to the 'Bs' and chose the name Brittany. She was Takieras BFF and shopping buddy. "Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to do a little shopping? We do have that premiere coming up and I do need an outfit." Star smiled. This was a necessary thing for Takiera. "Ok, great. I'll meet you at the mall in fifteen." She hung up the phone and ran to her closet. In the far back corner was a locked trunk. In it was all of Takieras clothes and two blond wigs. Star pulled the trunk out of the closet and into the middle of her room. She quickly ran to the door and locked it, she didn't want anyone to walk in on her. Making her way back to the trunk Star took a key from it's hiding place and began to unlock the trunk. Slowly she pulled out a wig and placed it on her bed. Then she chose and outfit and started to change. Once she was dressed she went over to her vanity and put on her make-up and wig. Star had transformed into Takiera and was walking down her dorm hallway. She had her hood on and was in a hurry, she didn't want to risk running into anyone. Once she was a block away from the school a limo pulled up and she got into it. Taking off her sweater she told her driver to take her to the mall. When she was almost there her cell phone rang and she pulled it out of her pocket. "Hello?" She said, it was her friend and she wasn't able to make it. "Oh, ok. I see, that's fine. Bye." Takiera said, disappointed. The driver asked if she still wanted to go. "Ya, I still need an outfit. I'll call you when I need to be picked up." She said, laughing. Once Takiera had reached the mall she walked around just looking at stores. Occasionally she went in one and found a thing or two. But nothing she wanted for the premiere. Finally she ended up at Hot Topic. It was her favorite store, and she could pick out a few things for the premiere. Takiera found a t-shirt, leggings, converse, a bow for her hair, and some jewelery. She had a brand new black skirt back in her dorm room that would go with the outfit perfectly. Takiera paid for the stuff, then walked out of the store and looked around. She was tired and wanted to rest for a while before doing maybe a little more shopping. She spotted a boy from school sitting alone at a bench. Perfect, he wasn't a stranger to her even though she was to him. And fortunately no paparazzi had found her yet so she might actually be able to talk to him. Takiera walked over to the bench and sat down. "Hi!" She said, looking at Nathan. ((wow.. i wrote a lot.. btw I don't ever really write that much it just came to me . Oh and if you didn't get it by now or haven't read Stars history. She has the exact same thing as Hannah Montana going on.))

Nathan was glancing around slightly anxious to talk to someone, but his anxiety didn't show physically. He rested his elbow on the arm of the bench and leaned against the back of it. Passing shoppers was still all he saw, and the odd clerk or two, no one that struck him as familiar. He heaved a sigh.
Nathan was facing the other direction when he heard a female's voice addressing him. He quickly turned to see Takiera sitting beside him. Instantly he recognized her as a celebrity. Everything from her clothing to her presence screamed 'paparazzi magnet'. He had met celebrities before, he was from Los Angeles after all. Maybe the ones he had met weren't so huge, but he didn't really bother paying attention to who was popular and who wasn't. Most of his favourite bands were probably completely unknown to ninety percent of his school, and truthfully, he didn't even know the name of this girl who had sat down beside him. But he was still surprised. Not by the fact a celebrity was talking to him, but by the fact that someone was, especially when he was about to go insane from the silence.
"Hey." Nathan said simply, placing his hands in the pockets of his black sweater and turned his gaze back to the ground. He never made much direct eye contact. It was a habit supposedly, but Nathan didn't try to do anything to stop it. This was probably because he wasn't completely aware of the fact that he did it. But this gesture didn't imply that he wanted her to go away, he was glad he finally had someone to talk to.
[[OOC; Hehe, well that's good. I can never write very long posts..which sucks. Ah well. And Oookay ^^]]

Takiera smiled. She knew Nathan wasn't someone who would jump up and ask for her autograph, she doubted he even knew who she was. Which was exactly what she wanted. "I'm Takiera by the way." She said. She leaned back and set down her bags next to her feet. Takiera had two big bags with Hot Topic written on them, she would need to get a different bag incase the papparazzi found her. They were always trying to find out what celebrities were gonna be wearing to the next big event. "So, what brings you to the mall?" She asked. ((OCC; The is roughly what I usually write... ya... or else it turns into jibberish cuz I run out of things to write.. ))

Priscillah stood motionless as she glanced around the crowded mall. She felt people's shoulders bump into her own as they scurried by hurriedly. Her face twisted into a mask of disgust and indecision. She didn't want to stay here any longer. She detested being around crowded, jammed places..such as the Mall itself. She rose onto her very tip-toes and looked around for an exit door. Mercy. A bright sign marked 'Exit' in bright, red colors indicated her savior. She shuffled over to the door and pushed it open with gentle force, her silky hands making contact with the chilly metal. Sunlight filled her eyes as she stepped out into the sunlight, lighter brown tints becoming noticeable in her dark hair. Glancing around anxiously, she searched for someone that she might know. Even just a little bit. Almost instantly she spotted two people off in the distance, sitting on a bench. Priscillah squinted her eyes at them, trying to get a better look at them. They seemed familiar somehow. Students from her new school probably. Now, Priscillah was left with the decision to leave the mall or go talk to them. She chose the second option and reluctantly stepped her way towards the two students. As she approached, she waved one hand in a polite gesture of hello. "Hi, I'm Priscillah." She didn't sit down beside them, instead, she just stood infront of them with an uncomfortable look on her face. She wasn't always the one to be the master of charisma.

Nathan nodded slowly as Takiera introduced herself. "I'm Nathan," he said in reply and looked back up at her. It had been strange how someone had noticed him as soon as he wanted them to, and a complete stranger at that. He leaned against the back of the bench. "Nothing in particular, just..hanging around I guess." That was true. He didn't have any reason to be here, and he would have probably left not long ago if Takiera hadn't greeted him. "And yourself?" he looked at her with raised eyebrows. Truthfully, he wasn't curious. He was very skeptical about most celebrities, although he wasn't entirely sure which celebrity this was sitting next to him, he was pretty sure she was popular. It was probably some publicity thing, even if she was carrying shopping bags. But Nathan decided to push those thoughts aside and pay attention to her answer.
Nathan then heard another female's voice coming from beside him and he turned to look at her, recognizing her as a student from his school. He had seen her passing in the hallways and hanging around the school ground and such, but he had never learned her name until now. "Hey, I'm Nathan." Now two people had noticed him. That was strange, but the second person probably had something to do with the girl sitting next to him.

Takiera nadded when he told her his name, she had a book of all the students names and pictures back in her dorm room. She had wanted to attempt to learn peoples names, it was al part of her student council campaign. Takiera smiled, "Cool. I just had to pick up a few things for some boring premiere I have to go to in a few days." She rolled her eyes and gestured to the bags by her feet. "I got some pretty cool stuff, and fortunatly its not some fancy shmancy crap that I can only wear to big events. I hate that type of stuff, it's such a waste of money." Takiera turned to look at the girl who spoke. "Hi, I'm Takiera." She gestured to the empty spot on the bench between her and Nathan "Wanna sit?" She asked. ((OCC: Priscillah (I dunno your real name) i don't know if you know this already but Star has the whole Hannah Montana thing going on, except different names.. ya.. just ta let ya know right now she is her alter ego Takiera.))

[OOC:// xD Okay. Aaand my name is in fact Stephanie. ] The corners of her mouth curved up into a small smile. "It's nice to meet you two." She murmured politely, not wanting to be too loud. Priscillah was always the quiet one, ever since she was just a young girl. Shifting her skeptical gaze to Takiera, she nodded. It wasn't like she could say no. Biting softly on her lower lip, she advanced towards the bench, turned around and then sat down smoothly. She curled her legs up onto the bench and pulled her knees up to her chin then self-consciously hugged her legs. She was careful to sit a little closer to Takiera instead of Nathan. Just for safety. She racked her mind for anything that could be a good subject to bring up. Finally she discovered one that was quite simple. "So..what are you two doing here?" She glanced around as if to indicate her obvious confusion of why they would be here. By the looks of Takiera, Priscillah assumed that she was shopping. Honestly, she didn't have any idea why Nathan was here. He was probably shopping with Takiera and they were just taking a break from the jammed crowds.

Nathan watched as Priscillah sat down, noticing she sat closer to Takiera. He was one who always noticed the small details, he always had been. Whether it was intentional or not was something that he didn't know, of course, he didn't really care. He generally didn't like being very close to people, he liked to have his own space.
He took note of how Priscillah greeted Takeria. She didn't seem very impressed that as was now sitting next to a celebrity, perhaps Takiera wasn't as big as he'd suspected. Or maybe Priscillah just wasn't a very open person, she seemed quite reserved through his eyes.
Nathan shrugged at Priscillah's question. "Nothing really." he answered dully. He would have added more to his answer if he had been in a more talkative mood. Nathan's hands were still tucked in the pockets of his sweater and was still leaning against the back of the bench. His deep green gaze was fixed on both of the girls for a moment, then he turned it back to the ground silently.

Priscillah nodded her head in slow movements. She glanced from Nathan to Takiera with wide, brown eyes. She noticed Nathan's eyes locked on both she and Takiera. She swallowed and began to absentmindedly play with the shoe laces of her black shoes. She was relieved when he dropped his gaze to the ground. Priscillah decided to try to make more conversation, she didn't want them to think that she was a boring person. Good impressions were always good or bad and this time she wanted to make a great first impression. "Oh," She looked at Nathan and arched a waxed eyebrow before shifting her eyes over to Takiera. "And you're shopping, right? Mind if..I tag along? I really have nothing left to do but if you don't want me to, that's perfectly fine with me." She fabricated a sweet smile but it didn't quite reach her eyes.

Star smiled. She noticed the fact that Priscillah either didn't know who she was, or didn't care. She was shy enough not to start screaming or jump up and down, like some girls do when they see her, which made Takiera happy. She was tired of those over excited fans. "Ya, I just picked up a few things for a premiere I'm going to in a few days. But I wanted to still look around." Takiera watched as Priscillah started to play with her shoe laces, you could tell she's very shy. Which made Takiera want to be friends with her even more.
"Sure we can shop together. My friend bailed on me last minute, she had a family emergency or something." Takiera rolled her eyes, her friends parents were getting divorced so she always had these little 'family emergencies', which just meant her dad was being pissy and wouldn't let her go out. "Any-who, Nathan do you want to join us?" Takiera raised an eyebrow and looked at Nathan. She had a huge grin on her face and was barely holding in her laughter.

Nathan raised his eyebrows at the request. He thought that he'd rather be alone than to be dragged around from store to store. Nathan wasn't a fan of shopping anyway, he'd alway wondered why most girls made such a big deal over it. It was just walking into a crowded room and buying stuff, not all that exciting. So he decided to decline the invitation.
"No..I'm good. I should get going anyway." He said standing up. He looked at the two girls. "It was meeting you both though, bye." He had enjoyed having someone to talk to, but he'd had enough of the crowed mall with screaming children and other colourful characters, it was time to head back. He smiled, turning on his heel, and disappeared into the distance.

Priscillah watched quietly as Nathan retreated to elsewhere, the corners of her mouth twisted up into a comical smile. She blinked and stopped fussing with her shoelaces, her attention beginning to shift back to Takiera. Great, now she had a shopping partner. Priscillah didn't even know the girl but by shopping with her, she could get to know her..even just a little bit. "Okay, So..uhm, let's get going. Maybe later we can stop at Pop's." She suggested calmly, her brows knitting together then pulling back to the original places. Priscillah slid off the bench and rose to her feet fluidly, gracefully. She had great balance for an individual her age. She was an expert in Ball Room Dancing, ever since she was a young girl when she lived with both of her parents. No, she chased that memory out of her mind. The last thing she needed was for Takiera to think she was a psychopathic. She cleared her throat, as if where were clearing away the horrid memories of her childhood past. "So, where first?"

Takiera laughed at Nathans reaction. "Didn't think so." She said, slowly she grabbed her bag off of the ground and looked over at Priscillah. "Ok!" She said. She loved going to Pops, the whol old style diner fascinated her. "How 'bout we just walk along, and if we see a store we like, we can go inside." Takiera suggested. She had been to one or two stores already, but not enough to feed her craving for shopping. Takiera stood up and looked around. She took a few steps away from the bench and looked back at Pricsillah, "Ya coming?" She asked with a smile.
((Sorry it took me so freaking long to reply, I've been really busy this past week!))
