Kimmi drove up to the mall in her Black 2007 Lexus GS450 Hybrid. As she stepped out she took of her shades and looked around to see what was going on. She walked up the long path to the front doors. When she got there the automatic door opened and she entered into a world of loud noises and sales.
Kimmi walked casually around the main floor looking at clothes the maniquans were wearing in the windows of random stores. After she walked around the whole main floor she took the stairs upto the second floor where there was more stores and even more people walking and talking. She thought it was funny how this one building could be the main social gathering place in the whole town.
As Kimmi walked past one store she saw an amazing shirt in the front store window, she didn't really come to buy anything but it wouldn't hurt to try it on. After buying the top Kimmi put her hand to her stomach and could feel it grumbeling. So she took a walk back to the main floor and to the food court. She went to 'Orange Julius' and got a smoothie. She found a table and sat down.

Unlike most girls, Chrissy does not fancy shopping at the mall. Now, shopping at a grocery store or movie store, she could do for hours but shopping at the mall, she despises. It's the crowds of people and the crying children that make thinking impossible and shopping a chore. She avoids having to go the mall. She only comes around when she really needs something and in that case, she has specific stores she walks into and does not venture to others just in case. She doesn't understand those people that linger at the mall and wander for hours. "Just in case" is an excuse she gets a lot for wandering. Just in case they find that lovely purse they were looking for, or that shirt. Chrissy believes, you go and buy what you need and come straight out. It prevents spending money on impulsive shopping.
But today, Chrissy had to go to the mall. Her pair of black tights managed a big hole in the knee. She had been putting off going to the mall but she really needed it now. There was this certain outfit that she had been planning and all she needed were those black tights.
Walking out of Hot Topic with a small baggy holding her tights in, she suddenly had a craving for something cold and fruity. Ordering a smoothie, she doesn't mind a quick sit before heading out again. Unfortunately, most of the seats were taken up as she looked around. But from the corner of her eye, she finally spotted a quiet little table for two. As she makes her way towards it, weaving past chairs and people, she was to focused on her destination that she overlooked a girl who was already sitting at a table. Her bag running into the back of the girls head, Chrissy turns around and quickly apologizes, only to recognize the girl. "Kimmi," she says rather surprised to find a familiar face. "I'm sorry," she apologizes again but means to quickly leave before her spot is taken. She looks back up and, what do you know. A couple sit right at her table. She lets out a sigh. "Do you mind?" she asks, pointing to the chair in front of Kimmi. "It's just so darn crowded." Chrissy knew Kimmi from school. They weren't the greatest of friends but she supposed it was better than sitting alone.

Kimmi looked up to see a happy and familiar face looking back. "Hey Chrissy! No, no, come sit" Kimmi insisted with a huge smile. The girls knew eachother from school and haden't seen eachother due to the long weekend. "So how is your long weekend been?" Kimm asked as she took another sip of her smoothie.

Chrissy was grateful enough. She gave Kimmi a grin and sat down, setting her drink on the table. "It's been good. A nice break from homework. And you? Done a lot of shopping or taking a energy drink before you start?" she teased a little. Chrissy had to admit that Kimmi and herself were never the greatest friends. They knew the same people but they really didn't have the same interests which Chrissy doesn't take personally. Chrissy respects Kimmi's differences from herself. A world full of people just like herself would be rather boring.
