Gwynne raised an eyebrow and brushed back a lock of hair. She thought that a plain answer, a move used by many to gain time. She had done it herself before. But she wanted real answers, not something that would possibly let him off the hook. The mere idea of Nathan not being picky either nearly brought a snicker to Gwynne's lips. Surely he had a preference. She did not believe him, and he probably was waiting for her to say something about it. Serenely she brought it up.
"I don't believe you." Gwynne rolled her eyes. "Obviously there must be somebody you want to see in the nude. Let me widen the choice for you; girls, guys and hermaphrodites."

Nathan let a sigh escape. It was the truth, or pretty much at least. He didn't want to see anyone in particular naked. He bit his lip, thinking. Finally he came to the decision that if he were to see someone naked, he'd want it to be someone he was..comfortable with.
"Well..if I had to pick..I would have say you. BUT, don't be creeped out, that's because you're the only girl I know who I have feelings for, even if it's only feelings of friendship. I don't want to see you naked so don't worry." He said hesitantly, smiling slightly. Well, that was embarrassing, but at least it was the truth. he thought, his expression remaining neutral.

Gwynne waited for the answer, and when she got it, she nearly burst right out laughing. Her face began to redden, but it was her stifling of her laughs. For some reason she hadn't predicted that. She expected something along the lines of Eve or Star Williams. She was incredibly surprised but wasn't at all in a bad way.
"Well, I can't say I'm not flattered," she chuckled after her choking fit. "I'm not creeped out. You should know what the guys say when their drunk at a party."
She wiped an imaginary tear from her eye before continuing. "Now that that's done and over with. I choose dare. Make it nice and difficult." Gwynne grinned, all ears and fully ready to use all her capabilities to accomplish what she is to do.

Nathan watched as Gwynne nearly exploded with laughter. He grinned, it was amusing how she was trying to hold it back, he wasn't offended in the least. He was glad to hear that she wasn't creeped out, but he wasn't surprised. He doubted it was even possibly to creep Gwynne out, she was tougher than many other girls. Her comment about the drunk guys at parties was true, sometimes it was embarrassing to be the same gender as people so disrespectful, whether they're drunk or not.
"Hmm..." Nathan thought about what he was going to get her to do for a dare. She had obviously been a master at dares, she wasn't far from being fearless, from what he could see anyway. But he could also see that she wasn't all that open emotionally, he had the perfect dare in mind for Gwynne.
"Alright, I dare you to..." Nathan took a dramatic pause "Write a love letter to one of the Omegas. And sign your name." He said with a grin. He knew Gwynne wasn't a fan of the Betas and Omegas, and that she wasn't exactly secure with her love life, he was hoping this would be difficult for her.

Gwynne face was nearing it's normal tint when she right out blanched. An Omega?! You have got to be kidding me, she thought to herself. Those dolts were full of themselves already, why make it worse with another 'admirer'. But then she shrugged. It's true that she had been through worse. And she was a master of half-truths anyway. She guessed Nathan didn't exactly know how good she was at this game. "All right then," she said, extracting her stickie note pad from her back pocket and taking her little pocket pen out. "You'll pay for this one, just you wait." Hunched over, Gwynne began to write, making the lettering a curly script she rarely used. Dearest Brett.
I am tired of standing by the sidelines, watching you as I have not been able to come near. The wall between us must be broken and crumbled, as my love has only grown stronger.
Anywho, be good, stay in school
Gwynnethe "Finished." She told Nathan to wait then went up to the school, pushed open a side door and went inside.

Nathan was just close enough to read what Gwynne was writing. He grinned, he wasn't expecting something so..poetic. But he was slightly disappointed that she did it without hesitation, but of course he didn't allow that feeling to show. Her comment about pay-back made Nathan sure he would continue picking truth, as long as he could anyway. He didn't want to see just how creative Gwynne could get with dares.
"Okay." Nathan answered when she said she was finished and watched her enter the school. He would have to think of a more difficult dare next time, which was going to be hard. It was surprising that Nathan had thought of this dare, it was probably the best one he could come up with. Truth or dare definitely wasn't a game Nathan was good at.

Gwynne stepped outside, looking around before walking towards Nathan. A hundred different dares and truths whirled about inside her head, eager to be the first to explode from her lips. She very much disliked doing that dare, but she wasn't a wuss. She'd do almost anything.
She skipped down the concrete steps, down the sidewalk towards the little strip of grass and, beyond that, the school grounds. She stepped off the path once she neared the tree under which Nathan sat. She went over and sat cross-legged.
"Truth or dare," her eyes boring in Nathan's and intent on making this next one horrifically equal to the one she received.

Nathan watched as Gwynne exited the building and sat down near him. He hoped that she acctually did it and not just stuck the note in the nearest trash can. Perhaps he should have went in with her to watch her stick the note in the locker, but of course it was too late now. He was going to ask her if she did do it, but she started speaking before him. She had asked the 'truth or dare' question, and Nathan was definitely going to stick to his plan. After Gwynne's threat, he was sure he wasn't going to choose dare, although truth could be much worse than dare if Gwynne happened to pick the right question.
"Truth." Nathan answered, expecting Gwynne to comment about his cowardice, but there was simply no way he would trust her with a dare.

Gwynne snorted. Of course he'd choose truth. She shook her head and got thinking. It needed to be something as awkward as her previous question. She wondered about his sexual preferences of the teachers of the school. That would definitely be awkward. Gwynne tapped her ankle with her hand, lips slightly pouted as she thought.
"If you had to choose between making out, necking or touching up a Beta, against her will, which would you pick?"
She knew if she thought about it more, she'd come up with something much better that would have Nathan stuttering for an answer. But time is of the essence, and she didn't want him to wait for an hour.

Nathan raised an eyebrow. That was his revenge? Nathan didn't hold a grudge against the Betas like Gwynne did, he didn't even dislike them. The last question was much worse than this one. He thought about it quickly, although the answer wasn't difficult to come up with.
"Making out with one I suppose." Nathan said, thinking it seemed like the most reasonable answer. "Okay, Truth or Dare?" Nathan asked without waiting for Gwynne's reaction to his answer. Nathan was pretty sure that Gwynne was going to pick dare again and he had a few in mind to give her.

Gwynne tilted her chin up a bit. She intended not to give Nathan the fun he wanted by asking for a dare. She decided to play it his way. Truth or truth style. Not very fun, but in the end he'd have to snap and choose dare sometime. She tossed her hair over one side of her shoulder then looked at Nathan seriously.
"Truth," she said with the dignity of the queen herself.

Nathan blinked, a bit surprised. He wasn't really expecting that, but it made sense. Nathan bit his lip, thinking. What would be a good truth question for Gwynne? He could ask her if she was lying about the reason why she left so quickly at Pop's and why she really left. He WAS curious about that subject, but he wouldn't ask about it, that would probably be a sensitive subject. Besides, that would have been two questions being asked. He would have to pick something more awkward and less personal.
"If you had to take of your clothes for someone, who would it be?" Nathan asked, raising his eyebrows. It wasn't the best question, but it was all he could think of. He found truths difficult to choose. "AND, don't say something like a family or doctor, although I don't know why you would." He added on at the end.

Gwynne watched him think then grinned as she heard her truth. Difficult. She didn't know many people she'd actually intentionally take her clothes off for. She caught his addition to the truth and pretended to be horrified. Her expression was all about being stumped. She bit her lip and began to think it through.
She ticked off all of the guys she knew, including Nathan. Males plus female nudity equals the girl usually getting pregnant. Gwynne leaned back against the tree trunk and tapped her chin with her forefinger. Then she thought of some loophole to the doctor thing, but she couldn't find one. Finally she chose her answer.
"My bestestest best friend, who's a girl, but oh well," said Gwynne, holding her head high. She gave him a moment for his reaction then impatiently waved her hand. "Truth or dare?"

Nathan watched her as she though about her answer, then frowned when he head it. He was hoping for a better answer than that, perhaps he should have added friends to the list at the end, but it was too late now. Nathan didn't think about whether to pick truth or dare, he didn't have to.
"Truth." He answered immediately. This time, he was expecting a more awkward question, or simply one he wouldn't want to answer. Ethier way, he forced himself not to worry about it and waited for Gwynne to ask him a question.

Gwynne rolled her eyes. Wasn't he ever going to just choose dare? It'd be so much more easier for her. She tutted and thought about her choices. She wanted something as awkward as possible and as difficult for him to answer. She didn't have much to choose from, so she decided to get a nice long speech from him instead.
"Tell me about your past," she said. It was a truth, so he couldn't do anything about it. And he had to answer it honestly. No matter what. "I want significant aspects of your life up until now."
She leaned forward, away from the tree and listening intently. It wasn't awkward to her, but it could take awhile. Depending on how detailed he would go into his description.
