Nathan smiled at her. He could also see a difference in himself since he met Gwynne. He seemed to have loosened up a bit, and he was happier. It would be quite difficult for him to try to be miserable while hanging around someone like Gwynne. Of course, Nathan didn't try to be miserable. He just..was sometimes, but it was nice to be happy for once.
"Well, we're going to have to be a bit more specific, wont we?" Nathan said with a slight smile. He waited for her to tell him a time and a place. He would most likely have nothing coming up in his schedule, since he hardly had one for anything but school.

Gwynne thought about possibilities. She wasn't good with planning, so she usually left that for other people. She thought about places and time. Most likely the weekend anyway. Leaning against the tree, Gwynne bit her bottom lip for a moment or two as she thought. She narrowed the locations down and voiced her thoughts.
"How about Saturday, around noon?" she said. "Your choice between the mall, Cat Tail's bar and the beach."

Nathan thought for a moment, putting his hands in his pockets. Cat tail's bar meant loud music and a crowded room filled with dancing people, and the beach usually meant swimming if it was warm out, which wasn't something Nathan did. Even if it was early spring, Nathan had no control over what the weather would be like, or even know for sure if it would be warm or not. The mall was probably the best choice for him.
"Saturday's good. The mall I guess." Nathan answered. The mall wasn't one of his favourite places ethier, he wasn't a fan of crowded placed nor was he a fan of shopping, but it was better than nothing.

Gwynne was partially amazed Nathan chose the mall. She guessed he didn't know that the beach didn't always consist of swimming. She thought of the beach volleyball and castle-making they'd be missing out on and nearly giggled from the mental image. She could understand him not wanting to go to the bar though. It was crowded, loud and probably stinked from all the dancing bodies.
"Oki doke," said Gwynne. "See you then." After the good-byes she strode off, heading into the school.

Nathan smiled and said his goodbyes as well then watched her walk into the school. He glanced around at his surroundings, deciding he'd take his time getting to his class, it wouldn't really matter if he was late or not, or at least he didn't care if he was.
Nathan slowly walked along the pavement of the parking lot, his gaze focused on the ground and his hands still in his pockets. He made his way up the cement stairs and pulled the door of the school open then entered the building.
